Who You Are

The ICT Manager will provide direction and leadership toward the development, evaluation and effective provision of ICT infrastructure and services across CV by supporting the Regional Director as required within the framework of CV’s vision and mission.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Implement ICT policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement ICT strategies in accordance with CV’s vision and mission.
  • To advise on the strategic direction of all regional ICT services.
  • To evaluate emerging technologies including hardware, software, and other resources necessary to accomplish objectives within budget.
  • To manage ICT infrastructure.
  • To manage the use of third parties to supply services.
  • To ensure the provision of systems support and maintenance.
  • To manage provision of technical support for content development.
  • To ensure effective communication within the ICT team, and across the wider organization.
  • To manage ICT budget preparation and implementation.
  • To provide reports to the Regional Director and Executive team as required.
  • To be available to travel both domestically and internationally as required.

Essential Skills / Experience / Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related area.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities in line with CV’s Leadership Competency Framework, and a demonstrated attitude of willingness to engage in continued personal development within the required competencies. Competencies include: developing and delivering strategies, managing self and others, and multiplying influence, all outworked through CV’s core values.
  • Significant experience in the ability to lead, manage and work collaboratively in a team environment, contribute to and encourage a culture of teamwork and service delivery.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written.
  • Experience working with internationally-based organizations (advantageous).
  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology and Systems administration are an advantage.
