Amara*, a woman from the Kampot Province in Cambodia, felt something lacking in her life. She felt an emptiness that wasn’t being fulfilled. 

After seeing a CV gospel video shared on social media, she was reminded of when she had attended church when she was younger. She recalled hearing about a man named Jesus, but she did not understand who he was and what his teachings meant.

She wanted to understand who Jesus was so she reached out to the CV team. One of CV’s pioneers began to talk with her over the phone. She welcomed the conversation and was genuinely interested to hear God’s word. 

After she listened to testimonies, she understood more about Jesus and wanted to have a personal relationship with him. 

The pioneer guided her through what it meant to accept Jesus. On a video call, she welcomed Jesus into her life after praying the prayer of salvation and was invited to a weekly online bible study. 

At this bible study, she learnt more about the word of God and enjoyed the connection and fellowship with other Christians. Now, she is faced with hesitancy as she feels called to share Jesus with her husband and neighbours, who do not share the same faith.

However, thanks to her weekly bible study, her comprehension of the Christian faith has grown alongside her confidence in sharing the gospel.
